Advance booking for Salaar beings in USA; 43 days to go for its release | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Prabhas’s Salaar-Part One- Ceasefire has been a hot property right from the day it was announced, its teasers and posters only added to the mass hysteria about the film. The film was first slated to release on 28th September and to tap into the international markets and growing demand for Telugu films, the makers had opened the advance booking for the film in the USA more than a month before its release.It received a tremendous response. The film had collected more than Rs 3 crore in advance booking, selling about 13500 tickets. But the film had to be postponed because of delay in VFX work, it is now releasing worldwide on 22nd December.

A few days ago, it was reported that the film might again be pushed again, this time to 2024. But there was no official word on it. In fact, the producers Hombale Films on 6th November announced that the film would be presented by Prithviraj’s production house in Kerala, thereby confirming the release date as 22nd December.
ETimes has now learnt that the advance booking in the USA has begun for the second time in a few cinema halls. And the full fledged booking should start in the next weeks. The makers would like to cross the number of 952 locations they had worked out for the release, first time around. The trailer is slated to release on December 1, as per reports.
Besides Prabhas and Prithviraj, the film also stars Shruti Haasan, Tinnu Anand, Jagapathi Babu, Easwari Rao and Sriya Reddy.
