Shilpa Shetty pens note as her debut ‘Baazigar’ completes 30 years, calls Shah Rukh Khan her ‘only acting school’ | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Shilpa Shetty had made her debut in Hindi cinema with ‘Baazigar‘. The film directed by Abbas-Mustan saw her share screen space with Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan. It was ‘Baazigar’s 30th anniversary on November 12 and Shilpa has now penned a belated note for her debut. She appreciated the entire team and thanked her co-stars SRK and Kajol. Shilpa expressed that while Shah Rukh was her acting school, Kajol taught her to be fearless.
Shilpa wrote, “Baazigar and I completed 30 YEARS on 12th November!🥳🥳 Thank you…@rtnjn ji and #Venus for being my guiding light. So blessed to have you in my life🙏🤗 @iamsrk… for being a true Baazigar and my one and only acting school😅Was your co-actor but your fan then, now, and forever♥️🤗 Abbas bhai & Mastan bhai… for handling me with kid gloves and having more faith in me than myself 🫡😍 @itsKajolD for befriending and (unknowingly) teaching me the art of being fearless🤗😘I feel so blessed… I owe this to my audience!”

She further cracked a joke on the fact that she was actually thrown and killed from a building by SRK in ‘Baazigar’ using the film’s iconic tagline. “Here’s to another 30 ♥️🧿💫 If I knew that getting thrown of a building would give me 30 years of longevity, I would happily get pushed again😅😂 After all, “Haar ke jeetne wale ko BAAZIGAR kehte hain!”❤️‍🔥”
Kajol had also expressed her feelings on the film completing 30 years. She had said, “#baazigar completes 30 years.. This set was a whole lot of firsts .. The first time I worked with Saroj Ji, the first time I met @iamsrk . The first time I met @anumalikmusic … and me all of 17 when I started the film .. Abbas bhai and Mustan bhai actually treated me with all the indulgence of a favourite child. And how can I forget @therealxt , @iam_johnylever , @theshilpashetty ..So many good memories and unstoppable laughter .. 😆 To this day, every song and dialogue brings a huge smile to my face ..Just because ..#30yearsofbaazigar”
